Asian Wealth launches private investment club

Business Life 31-01-2020

In an exciting new division to its business, Asian Wealth has established a private investment club, leveraging its network and contact base to source the right type of investment opportunities on behalf of their investors.

After eight years of working with entrepreneurs and investors across the country, Asian Wealth Media (AWM) has been able to establish a remarkable contact base including some of the most well recognised entrepreneurs in the UK. AWM’s private investment club will now focus on leveraging this network to connect investors with exclusive opportunities with a focus on real estate and private equity.

The Network – Sometimes it’s who you know

“Our relationships and networks with all of these entrepreneurs has become our USP,” says Sunny Patel, Partner at AWM, who is leading the new division.

“If you are really well networked and people are able to send you certain deals which are not available on the open market, it takes you one step forward, keeping you a step ahead in the game.”

“Sometimes it’s not what you know, it’s who you know” he adds. “Our network allows us to source the right types of deals – whether you are looking for the next undervalued property deal, or seeking to find the next fast growing tech company, this is where we can help.”

Becoming the link for Entrepreneurs & Property Investors

The team has thus been able to connect the dots between investors and the right kind of products and deals, many of which are off-market and exclusive to Asian Wealth.

Sunny says that it has become very clear that the entrepreneurs and HNW clients connected with their brand are either investing in property or private equity. “Real estate has been a popular investment for entrepreneurs and investors globally. I have been a real estate developer for 12 years so it’s something that I’m very passionate about.

“Over the years we have connected with two different types of entrepreneurs – those who are young, hungry and growing their businesses, and on the other side of the spectrum, entrepreneurs who have sold their businesses for large sums and are now looking to invest their money behind the right companies. Therefore, it’s a win-win. We are in the position to connect growing entrepreneurs with the right type of strategical investors who can not only invest, but help them grow faster. So we strongly feel that now is an ideal time to take a more focussed view into this area.”

The Opportunity

AWM’s network includes some of the country’s most well-known, talented and respected entrepreneurs. Their steer and guidance will naturally be a strength, assisting AWM to push boundaries and seal the right kinds of deals.

“We are currently working on a number of interesting real estate deals along with an exclusive mandate to work on a dental tech company which has grown 300% year-on-year, selling to over 50 countries worldwide. It’s a very exciting prospect,” says Sunny. “We are actively working with the company’s founder to introduce them to the right kind of investors.”
