Asian Wealth hosted it’s fourth annual Diwali Dinner in early October with a tantalizing journey of food, drink and friendship in the heart of Mayfair.

The flicker of candles, the heady fragrance of spices in the air, and the clink of glasses… Diwali season has officially arrived.

AWM friends and former cover stars attended the Asian Wealth Diwali Dinner on Friday 4 October 2019. The exclusive evening was held in partnership with Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar, at his latest venture, Kanishka, Mayfair.

The intimate night for just 26 invited guests was centred around a culinary experience. The dinner was a prime opportunity to experience Kanishka’s offering and enjoy the culinary skills of Atul and his chefs.

Invited guests included Waterworld owner Mo and Ann Chaudry, Vijay and Sunita Patel from Waymade Group, Childsplay Clothing’s Nick and Punam Bassi, and Pritesh and Justina Lad of St James Interiors.

AWM Partners on the night included The House, Pernod Ricard’s premium member’s site; Roger Dubuis; Soneva; and law firm Charles Russell Speechlys.

Chef Kochhar and his team curated an eight-course menu inspired by the Seven Sister States of India included Naga chilli spiced scallops, Tripura style grilled partridge, and 24 carat gold leaf peanut butter parfait. Each course was served with an individual paired drink especially curated by Max Warner, Global Ambassador of Havana Club Rum.

Sunny Patel, AWM Commercial Director opened the evening, followed by Olga Adams, Boutique Manager of Roger Dubuis who spoke about the brand and the new store.

To end the evening, guests had opportunity to indulge in the limited edition Havana Club Tributo 2019, or Royal Salute Whisky. Atul Kochhar gave away personalised signed copies of his book 30 Minute Curries, and Charles Russell Speechlys gifted specially engraved bottles of Perrier Jouet.
